Helium - technical information

HELIUM SAFETY

There are two gasses that are lighter than air: Hydrogen (H) and Helium (He).
Hydrogen is EXTREMELY FLAMMABLE and therefore very dangerous.
Helium is NOT FLAMMABLE (but even extinguishes flames)

We frequently get asked whether helium in balloons is dangerous.

This is not the case.

For your information we provide the technical brochure for your party location or the fire department.

The use of helium in balloons is safe.

Helium bottles which contain helium under pressures of 150 or 200 bar, should be handled with the required caution.
